Information You Explicitly Provide

via Order Form:
To process your order, we require your name, billing address, phone number, email address, shipping address and credit card information. We use this information solely to process your order and, if any questions should arise, to contact you about your order. In general, we will try to contact you first by email and only if that fails, or if time is critical, will we try to contact you by phone. We share this information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. For example, the financial institution that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your order.

via Newsletter Subscription:
We make available an email newsletter and should you decide to subscribe, we will send you newsletter announcements from time to time until you unsubscribe. Subscription to our newsletter is optional and requires your consent via our Newsletter Subscription form or during our online order checkout process.

Information We automatically Collect:

Shopper ID:
Upon visiting our site, we assign you a unique Shopper ID and attempt to store that onto your computer in the form of a cookie. This is used to keep track of your shopping basket during your visit and between visits. Some people are uncomfortable with a site being able to identify them as a repeat visitor. If you belong in this category, you can use the link below to pick up a new Shopper ID and an empty shopping basket.

IP Address:
We record your IP address and link this to your Shopper ID to help us determine how many unique shoppers visit our site on a daily basis. In addition, when you place an order using our online checkout process, we record your IP address with the order to help us identify fraudulent credit card use. We may share this with the financial institution that issued the credit card with which an order was placed if we later determine use of the credit card was fraudulent. If you are uncomfortable with the idea of being assigned a Shopper ID, we recommend disabling cookie support in your browser (please see your browser documentation for specific procedures) and, should you decide to place an order, placing it by phone, fax or postal mail. Disabling cookie support will disable the shopping basket feature of our site.

When ordering from fastenersworldwide.Com you have the option of transferring information via industry standard SSL encryption, you must choose to proceed through our secure server to benefit from our SSL technology. To choose our secure server simply click on our secure option found on you shopping basket page, prior to checking out. In addition, we utilize the same encryption standard when transferring your credit card data to our internal fulfillment system. To further enhance our security measures, our fulfillment system is not accessible via the Internet and we delete from our web site database all credit card information within 24 hours of receipt.

Glossary of Terms:

Cookies:
Cookies (we're not sure how they got this gastronomic name) are pieces of information that a web site stores in your computer. Temporary cookies only last as long as your browser is running. Persistent cookies are stored on your hard disk (they take up very little space). Sites often use cookies to identify repeat visitors and offer them personalized service.

IP Address:
When you are connected to the Internet, your computer has a unique Internet ID called an IP address. Most people that connect through a dial-up service, such as America Online, get a different IP address each time they login. Others might have a permanently assigned IP address, called a static IP address. It is difficult or impossible for a web site to collect personal information about you (i.e., your name, email address, etc.) from your IP address alone, though a static IP address makes this easier.

Shopper ID:
A unique ID assigned to each shopper that visits an online store with a shopping basket system. Each store you visit will assign you a different ID. Many stores use a cookie to save your Shopper ID for re-use when you return to that same store. Some shoppers find this convenient and others find it objectionable.

SSL Encryption:
A method by which information transmitted across the Internet is scrambled to the point where it's virtually indecipherable by anyone who should intercept the data before it reaches its destination. Most reputable online stores make use of SSL encryption to request credit card information and other sensitive data from their customers. Web pages where SSL encryption is activated are typically identified by a lock or key symbol displayed somewhere in your browser. Shipping

• All items are shipped UPS unless otherwise noted.

• Orders ship to destination next day air, two-day air or ground service as per customer request.

• We can not ship to a P.O.Box.

• All in-stock items ordered before 2PM eastern standard time will ship the same-day.

• On international orders the customer will be responsible for any and all customs, duties and taxes incurred.

• To service your order as quickly as possible, your order may arrive in more than one box from more than one location.

• All shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight of your order.

• Additional charges may apply to oversized items.

• If merchandise is lost or damaged during transit the customer must file a claim with the carrier.

Returns

All Fasteners Worldwide returns must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. You can request a RGA number by sending an e-mail to Customer Support. In your email please include the following:

· Order number
· Reason for return
· Address for pick up
· Your name
· Phone number and e-mail address

General Return Guidelines:
Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return products that:

· Are in their original packaging
· Have original manufacturer information
· Are not damaged
· Do not have missing parts

These returns still require a RGA number (see above) and all non-defective returns are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee ($10 minimum).

We will issue a full refund for the product when your return meets these guidelines. The cost of shipping will be credited only in those instances where the return is a result of our error.

Damaged Products:
If your product has been damaged in shipment, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt.

Manufacturer's Warranty:
Parts are covered by the Manufacturer Warranty. Manufacturer warranties vary and are included with your product and should be reviewed carefully for additional information.
